While there are 1000s of loads available through the CloudTrucks app, we know that some drivers prefer to book loads from brokerages not currently available through our search. We absolutely encourage this!

Step by step
1. Open up the CT app and tap on the truck icon
2. Click on the blue button that says "Add Load". Be sure to do this before moving to the next step!
3. Have your broker email the rate confirmation to rates@cloudtrucks.com. Make sure the broker includes:
- Driver's name, phone number, email
- CloudTrucks' MC #
4. Follow the steps on the next pages as they come up. First, search for the broker in our system or add a new one
- If you're adding a new broker, send their information to rates@cloudtrucks.com
- If you are working with a broker already in our system, add in all the relevant information about your load on the next few screens and submit
5. Once you submit, the broker must email the ratecon to rates@cloudtrucks.com and the job will show up as Booked Externally on your jobs page
6. While a broker should have your contact information for the load, please make sure CloudTrucks is listed as the main contact using the following contact info:

Why it's important to add externally booked loads to the CT app
Adding externally booked loads to the CT app helps our operations team quickly associate your rate confirmation with the corresponding job. This process accelerates approvals, reduces errors, and minimizes friction in your operations. By completing this process quickly after booking your job, we ensure that your load details are processed efficiently, and nothing will stand in your way of making it to the pickup facility for your appointment on time and stress-free.
Reminder: CloudTrucks reserves the right to not work with any particular broker. When completing the carrier packet, CloudTrucks checks the credit of each potential broker. If the broker does not meet our credit standards, we cannot work with them. Click here for more on requirements we have for working with brokers.
For last minute load bookings
We know that last minute loads can be extra profitable & need immediate attention. To accommodate your request, please do the following:

1 Hour Processing: let the broker know there’s a centralized dispatch team that can take up to 1 hour to process an urgent carrier packet.

Text or Call Ops: "URGENT Last Minute Load" along with your Pick Up & Delivery Location, Delivery Date & Brokerage Name to help us prioritize and move it to the front of the queue.

Restrictions
Virtual Carrier Users cannot haul alcohol in some states, hazmat loads, tanks, reefers, containers, and high value loads. You can find all of our alcohol permits in your permit book (go to Profile -> Permit Book)
