Do you work with shippers directly?

Yes! CloudTrucks now offers direct-from-shipper contract freight & dedicated lanes to all Virtual Carrier customers.

Can anyone book these loads?

All Virtual Carrier customers can book contract loads & dedicated lanes. When multiple drivers request to book on the same load or lane, priority will be given to drivers who have completed 10+ loads at CloudTrucks, have a 95% on-time-performance (OTP) score and are in good safety standing. If you're interested in running a dedicated lane with CloudTrucks, please reach out to CloudTrucks Support for more information. 

How do I sign up for a dedicated lane?

To sign up for a dedicated lane, please reach out to Carriers team at [e-mail]. Let them know that you're interested in a dedicated lane where you'd like to run and our team will get back to you with our availability ASAP. 

What are the benefits of running a dedicated lane? 

In today's volatile spot market, you're probably looking for something more reliable. When you run a dedicated lane, CloudTrucks will work with you to create a schedule that matches your preferences. All we ask is you book up to 5 loads each week for 2+ weeks. And, if anything goes wrong on the shipper's end, you get $175 in TONU guaranteed. 

What companies can I book contract loads or dedicated lanes with?

We are partnered with the following shippers and the loads we receive from them are exclusive to CloudTrucks Virtual Carrier customers. We plan to add more in the near future!

Where are these loads and what are the common lanes?

Our most popular contract freight pick up points are in the South and Midwest, with additional lanes coming soon. We are working on getting more shipper contracts to add more states and lanes. 

How can I book contract loads and dedicated lanes?

We offer several ways to book contract freight and dedicated lanes from all of our shipper partners.

1. To book a contract freight load, please visit our Available Direct Contract Loads list and call Shipper Ops at 415-818-0704 today (note: this line is call-only).
2. To book a dedicated lane, please contact our Carriers Team at [e-mail]. Let them know that you're interested in dedicated lanes and where you'd like to run and they'll get back to you ASAP.

How do I find contract loads to book in the CT app?

Contract loads will show up together with spot loads on our load board. Use the Load Source filter in Search to find these loads even faster.

1. Go to the search bar & click the load source drop down
2. Select the shippers you want to see loads from
3. Click save & search!
4. Contract loads will show up with the 'brand • shipper' label.

How do I book contract loads in the CT app?

Follow the Standard Book process to bid and book.

1. Click on the load
2. Input your bid
3. CloudTrucks' Support Team will review your bid and get back to you asap.

Are contract loads considered spot loads or dedicated lanes?

Both. Our contract loads can be booked as spot loads or as dedicated lanes. If you're interested in running a dedicated lane with CloudTrucks, please reach out to our Carrier team at [e-mail] for more information. 

How are shipper contract loads different from broker spot loads?

All loads come from shippers. But shippers typically hire brokers to find drivers for their loads, and brokers charge drivers an average of 20% per load. By eliminating the broker and working directly with shippers, CloudTrucks is able to pass over the savings to drivers and show you loads that pay 20% more than spot loads.
