In CloudTrucks, fleet members can be assigned to two different roles: admin and driver. A fleet member can be assigned to one or both roles, and each role has its own set of permissions.
Driver permissions
- View and edit their own account information
- View job details and submit proof of delivery
- View load prices for assigned jobs*
- View load board and book loads*
* These 2 permissions are turned on by default. Fleet admins can request to turn off the two permissions with asterisks by contacting the CloudTrucks customer success team.
Please note that turning off those 2 permissions only effects fleet members who are "driver-only". If a fleet member is assigned both an admin AND a driver role, that fleet member will still be able to view load boards, prices, and book etc.
Also, if a team has more than one driver that is assigned a "driver-only" role, changing these permissions will affect ALL drivers in the fleet, rather than just one specific driver.
