What are "Standard Book" Loads?

Typically, when you book a load through the CloudTrucks load board, unless labeled otherwise, the load will be a 'Standard Book' load, which means our Operations Team will need to confirm the load's availability and final price with the broker before it's dispatched and added to your load board.

These loads are not guaranteed and may get covered by another carrier and/or be priced outside of the CT Estimate range. Our Operations Team will try to secure the load at the highest possible rate and confirm with you if the price is below the CT Estimate.

Until confirmed by CloudTrucks, these loads will display as 'Awaiting rate confirmation' in your Jobs List. 

How to book 'Standard Book' loads

1. Click into any load you'd like to book and tap the blue 'Contact Broker' button at the bottom of the page

2. Contact the broker using the contact methods provided (email, call, or both) and give them all of the necessary information, such as broker load ID, price, etc. 

3. When you and the broker have come to an agreement and you're ready to confirm the booking, tap 'Confirm Booking', enter in the details you agreed upon and tap the blue 'Confirm Booking' button one more time

What happens next? 

The load will now appear on your jobs list as 'Awaiting rate confirmation'.

Once the CloudTrucks operations team receives your ratecon and begins reviewing it, the load label will change to 'Reviewing rate confirmation'. Then, once Ops has confirmed the load and the price, they will dispatch the load to you and add it to your load board as 'Booking confirmed'.
