Booking loads “offline” is one of the 4 ways you can book loads at CloudTrucks.
“Booked Offline” Definition:
When you find loads in our app, but are directed to book by calling or emailing the broker directly.
Offline booking is different than “externally booked” loads, which is another of the 4 ways to book loads, in that an external load is one that was found outside of the CT load board, whereas an offline booking was still found on our load board, but the communications
How to Book Offline
When you find a load on our load board that has a blue “Contact Broker” button, this means you maybe booking the load offline.
On the bottom of the next screen (see image below), you’ll have the option to call and/or email, depending on the contact info provided by the broker who submitted the listing.

- Note: When both phone and email are provided, we recommend you attempt to call first. You will have a higher likelihood of getting a response. If the broker doesn’t pick up, follow up with an email.
- Provide the broker with your name and the CT MC# 1046672.
- If the broker has concerns with booking due to CloudTrucks, explain that you are an independent contractor and can provide your own safety and performance data as a screenshot from the app to show your individual safety scorecard.
- If they continue to have concerns due to CloudTrucks safety rating, you can provide them with our 2024 safety letter
- If the broker is ready to send a rate con, have them send to rates@cloudtrucks.com
The app will automatically add the load you reached out about to your Jobs list in the “Negotiating” section.
Be sure to tap “Confirm Booking” at the bottom of the screen, and then add in all details on the next screen titled “Confirm your job details.
If you see the load later removed from your list, it may be because another driver booked the load.
As soon as Ops received the rate con from the broker, our support team will notify you that the load has been been booked.
What if you need to cancel the booking before Ops has received and processed the rate con?
This may happen if for example, you are negotiating on multiple loads and decide to pick one over the other, but the broker may still send a rate confirmation before he realizes you’ve declined.
1. Tap the truck icon on your CloudTrucks app to go to your jobs list
2. Navigate to the 'Negotiating' tab of your jobs list
3. Click on the load you'd like to cancel and tap 'No longer interested' at the bottom of the screen (see image below.) Be sure to do this immediately when you are negotiating on multiple loads, to avoid a situation where you get booked on a load you didn’t intend for.
