How do I get loads?
You can book loads through the CloudTrucks load board, which is available on the CloudTrucks mobile or desktop app.
The CloudTrucks load board surfaces loads from thousands of different brokers, load boards, and shippers. Some can be booked instantly at the listed price, while others require you to submit a pid through the load board.
The CloudTrucks App is currently available in the Google Play store for Android users, in the App Store for iPhone users and at www.app.cloudtrucks.com on desktop.
How do I get in touch with CloudTrucks?
Our Operations team is available via phone and text at (415) 480-2336. The phone is the quickest way to get in touch with us. We can also respond to emails at support@cloudtrucks.com.
If you have questions outside of load booking, refer to our business partner resource guide here to contact the appropriate team.
What hours is the Operations Team available? Is there weekend and after-hours support?
Our team is online and ready to help you 24/7. For urgent issues, please call (415) 480-2336, and we will call you back ASAP.
I am interested in booking a load, but only at a certain price. How can I submit a bid?
To have CloudTrucks negotiate a load, book the load within the app, then send a text to our Operations Team at (415) 480-2336 with the load and price information. For more information click here.
You can also submit your own bid within the CT mobile app so you stay fully in control of the final rate. To learn how to bid on a load in-app click here.
Can I negotiate Instant Book loads?
Certain brokers (such as Uber Freight) do not allow for bidding or negotiation. Others do allow for bids to be submitted on Instant Book loads. Contact the Operations Team for assistance. For more information on Instant Book loads, click here.
How do I cancel a load?
All drivers can now abort or cancel their jobs using our CT mobile app allowing our Ops team to process cancellations faster & more efficiently than before. Before you cancel a load, please make sure your cancelation is in line with CloudTrucks' cancelation policies.
If you still want to cancel your load, click here to learn how.
How can I cancel a load that I have booked offline before Ops has received and confirmed the ratecon?
To cancel a load that you booked offline before Ops has received and confirmed the ratecon, follow the 3 easy steps below:
1. Tap the truck icon on your CloudTrucks app to go to your jobs list
2. Navigate to the 'Negotiating' tab of your jobs list
3. Click on the load you'd like to cancel and tap 'No longer interested' at the bottom of the screen
Note: if you'd like to cancel a load after Ops has received and confirmed the ratecon, you'll have to request a cancellation in the CloudTrucks app.
What kinds of loads are offered by CloudTrucks?
CloudTrucks currently supports general freight — Dry Van, Flatbed, and Power Only (drop and hook) loads.
I found a load on a load board that CloudTrucks isn't integrated with. Can I take it?
Yes, drivers have the ability to move freight for brokerages that are not currently integrated with the CloudTrucks mobile app. Please note that CloudTrucks needs to approve the broker. To learn how to add an externally booked load, click here.
How can I share the link to a load with Ops?
When reaching out to Ops for help booking a load or for a question about a specific load, it's best if your provide them the link to that load (as opposed to a screenshot or something else), so they can get all the details internally and help you ASAP. This is because the system CloudTrucks Ops uses for sending and receiving text messages does not allow them to send or receive images.
To share a link to a load:
1. Click into the load you want to share or need help on and tap the button highlighted in the image below on the top right hand corner
2. Send CloudTrucks the link using the method of your choice - copy and pasting the link in a text message is our recommendation for the fastest way
3. Once CloudTrucks receives the link, our Operations team will be able to help you
