Your onboarding document checklist

Before you schedule your first drive, we will ask you for copies of the documents below so we can verify everything and upload them to our system. Keep these copies handy to make onboarding as fast and smooth as possible. Don't worry, CloudTrucks can help you get all of these documents if you don't have them already! 

• Truck Registration (we can register your truck for you if needed)
• Trailer Registration (if you have a trailer)
• Truck DOT Inspection - clean, from the last 90 days
• Trailer DOT Inspection (if you have a trailer) - clean, from the last 90 days
• Medical Certificate
• CDL A (current and past, to show a 3 year history)
• Physical Damage Insurance COI
• Passenger Authorization (if you plan to have a passenger, we will provide this during your Onboarding Orientation)
• Employment Verification Documents

Which documents do we need to verify employment? 

CloudTrucks requires at least 2 years of CDL-A experience, with 6 months recent experience. We'll be asking former employers for employment verification unless you indicate not to contact them, and we may ask for the following documents to verify your employment history, so please have them handy if you plan on applying:

• Downloaded copies of ELD logs: 6 months in last 1 year; 18 months in last 3 years
• Paystubs / Settlement statements: 6 months in 1 year; 18 months in 3 years
• IFTA or Weight Distance Filings: 2 IFTA or 2 Weight Distance Filings in the last 1 year; 6 IFTA or 6 Weight Distance Filings in last 3 years
• Your MC / DOT number if you're already an owner-operator
